New DL&W "Route of The Phoebe Snow" Boxcars

Accurate "The Route of Phoebe Snow" 40 Ft Boxcars in Two Variations and Four Numbers.

 

Authentic ready-to-run models of DL&W Series 53000-53259 40Ft boxcars built by Magor Car Corporation in Jan-Fed 1950. These cars are manufactured Exclusively for the Erie Lackawanna Historical Society by InterMountain Railway Company and include the follow:

  • 1937 10 riveted panel 10'0" high carbody

  • Modern dreadnaught end (vs. 1937 design)

  • Diagonal panel roof

  • A unique, totally accurate, 6' Youngstown 5-6-5 door from Southwest Scale Productions

  • Steel Roofwalk,

  • 8 rung ladders

Two paint schemes are being offered:

1955 "The Route of Phoebe Snow" with Bill Board LACKAWANNA - Car No. 53021 & 53215 (Built 2-50, Repaint 8-55)
